The venue was absolutely perfect, the food tasted amazing and the professionalism and assistance in the build up to the big day was exceptional.

Now that we are back and settled in after our big day and honeymoon, I just wanted to send another huge thank you for everything leading up to and on our wedding day. The team was so accommodating and the food was unreal. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how great the staff were.

Absolutely recommend Peterson House

My husband and I would absolutely recommend Peterson House as a wedding venue.

The ven ue itself is stunning and offers a variety of options for both onsite ceremonies and receptions. We ended up getting married in the onsite chapel and then flipped the chapel for our reception which was a fun surprise for our guests. We also loved the look of the venue's marquee but decided to flip the chapel for a more intimate and romantic look.

Eloise and the team at Peterson House were an absolute delight to work with both in the lead up to our wedding and on the day of. I am normally a bit of a control freak but I had complete trust in Eloise as she is super organised and knows exactly what she is doing. We honestly felt so well looked after and would 100% recommend Peterson House.

Hi Eloise,

I just want to thank you, thankyou for everything, answering countless questions, meeting with us multiple times, never saying no to my requests, the list goes on!!

John and I had the most amazing day last Friday, not a single hiccup from the moment I walked through the doors at the chapel to the moment we left that night, it couldn’t have been better if we tried!

Special thanks as well to the lovely staff member in charge of the music, it was perfect. All the reception staff were so beautiful and helpful, making it so effortless to have a great time, major props to you all for what you do.

You love what you do and it shows, and I can’t thank you enough!

Hi Eloise and Izzy,

Thank you so much for your help and professionalism in hosting our wedding at Peterson House. We had such an amazing day and all our guests loved the venue - we got so many compliments on how stunning the grounds are! The chapel is breathtaking and the food and service were excellent.

We would strongly recommend anyone wanting to get married to have it at Peterson House :)

I've included a couple of our photos of our special day, thank you again. One of the biggest appeals for us when deciding where to get married was that we can come back to Peterson's to 're-live' our wedding day with a nice breakfast or lunch anytime we like, and we definitely plan to do so.

In terms of final invoices - when you have the time would someone be able to send us what we owe for happy hour drinks and any other expenses?

I hope the day went smoothly for you both, we were very lucky to have some amazing vendors and friends because as far as we know everything just 'happened' without any major hiccups.

Phil & I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you both and the staff at Peterson’s House for an incredible wedding. We realise you worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organise/ coordinate the day and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect. Many guests also commented on the food being incredibly delicious and being given generous serving sizes. Please thank the chefs for us too!

Eloise, we cannot thank you enough for EVERYTHING you did for our wedding.

For allowing us to cancel during covid, letting us re-book without any charge, holding tentative dates for us, the endless emails and phone calls and keeping us calm when our world was in complete chaos. I know a lot of brides who were in tears over their venues lack of flexibility and I just kept saying how lucky we were to have you on our side.

The perfect all-in-one wedding venue to host a destination wedding weekend.

Lavish & Luxe is the only way I can describe Trish & Wayne's black tie wedding at Peterson House Chapel.

The couple wanted a non traditional format - guests sitting around on lounges with glasses of bubbly taken from the champagne tower as they walked in the door.

Vanessa and Joe brought a little Hollywood and a whole lotta love to their glamorous Peterson House wedding in the Hunter Valley.

Enlisting Hunter Valley wedding planners, stylists, and all-round wedding pros Hunter Events NSW, the couple’s Great Gatsby-inspired nuptials on February 7, 2021, went off with a bang. Literally.

Culminating in a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the sprawling vineyard, the Sydney couple’s big day with 95 guests drew inspiration from Baz Luhrmann’s distinctive style, and in particular, favourite films Romeo and Juliet and The Great Gatsby.

We used Hunter Events NSW who were our stylists bringing our bespoke vision to life and representing us as a couple. They were a godsend. Especially with COVID and trying to rearrange 15 vendors to a new date. Louise and her team were a military operation! We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

My George Elsissa gown was a throwback to old Hollywood, with feathers and sequins; a lace top with boning and a cap sleeve; and the skirt was a trumpet style with a magnificent train.

The Peterson House marquee went through an extension during COVID. We were able to have our long double trestle tables, fit our band and dancefloor, and the lighting and styling created a magical ambience.

For one night, everyone was celebrating love and it was most of our guests’ first event and wedding off the back of COVID.

People had so much to celebrate – love and life.

Wow, what can I say about holding our wedding at Peterson House?

From the start of our planning until the end of our event, they were absolutely fabulous.

Not only is the venue stunning (along with the amazing new sandstone chapel), the staff are just incredible.

They went above and beyond to make our day the best of our lives. They were helpful, flexible and invested and liaised wonderfully with our other suppliers. Eloise, Beth and all of the staff at Peterson House are superstars. Their professionalism, care and assistance was beyond our expectations of a wedding venue.

Not only that, the food and wine is amazing! I wouldn't hesitate recommending Peterson House to anyone currently planning their wedding!"
